FiberMag including EM-Marker
Emtelle Fiber Storage Magazine is ideal for temporary storing of optical Fiber cable. The magazine (FiberMag) is a fully sealed system that seamlessly connects to our FiberFlow microducts 7mm, 8mm or 10mm (outer diameter). Once a cable is installed, up to 40 metres of excess cable can be stored in the FiberMag at the boundary to the home. The future customer connection is easily made by retrieving the stored optical Fiber cable by hand and pushing it down a duct to the home. This allows for a reliable, fast and splice free customer connection to the home.
The FiberMag is fitted with an EM-Marker for locating the system when direct buried at the property boundary. The
EM Marker functions on the standard telecommunications locator frequency of 101.4kHz.
